We will customize these design frameworks with your practice’s logo, color scheme, images, videos, content, and testimonials.
You’ll have three rounds of Revision Requests for all page-template designs (Homepage, Service Page, and General Inner Page Template). Upon delivery of the initial mockup, the Client has the right to request that CustomerBloom/PracticeBloom start over with a new design. Once a Revision Request is submitted, the process of three, and only three, rounds of revision requests has begun. If additional rounds of revision requests are needed, we are happy to continually revise the design at an hourly rate.
All design feedback must be submitted in writing by entering comments on the mockup. Once you have finished commenting on a mockup, you must email your account manager notifying that you’ve finished leaving comments in order to complete your revision request.
After a mockup is accepted, any changes requested will be deemed to be outside of the original scope of the project and will become an addendum to this agreement. Changes or edits outside the scope of the project are charged separately and will need to be quoted.
We will create up to 20 pages of your new website provided that you provide us with hierarchical list of the Page Titles. We will populate these pages with dummy (Ipsum Lorem) text as a placeholder, unless you have provided the finalized content before the construction of the pages has begun. CustomerBloom/PracticeBloom can be hired to create content at additional rates if needed.
One round of content insertion is included in the agreed upon price of this project. The client must provide all content, clearly organized and titled (unless Client is paying CustomerBloom/PracticeBloom to create the content). Once all content has been received, CustomerBloom/PracticeBloom will insert the content in one batch. After we have placed the content, any requested changes/revisions to the content will incur an hourly charge.
Graphics and Photography:
We welcome and recommend that you provide custom and personalized company/product images for us to use in your new website design, however, they must be submitted prior to the design kickoff.
If you do not have professional photography, we will use stock photography for the website design. Any graphics and/or photographs included in mockups are included in the cost of the website. Any additional graphics/photography will incur additional fees.
If we are copying content/images over from a previous website, we will assume that you have created or legally licensed the material, and we are not accountable for any copyright infringements.
Like all creative processes, designing a website is an abstract endeavor. When creating a design, we do our best to produce something that is original but that also reflects the other designs referenced in your questionnaire. As per the Production Process Outline below, you will be permitted up to three rounds of revision requests per page template design. If you receive a design that you do not like at all, however, we are happy to scrap it and start again but we will need specific feedback with references in order to begin again. Feedback such as “I don’t know what I want but I’ll know it when I see it.” is not productive and is not sufficient to move forward.
We test our work in current versions of major desktop browsers including those made by Apple (Safari), Google (Chrome), Microsoft (Edge), Mozilla Firefox. We won’t test in other older browsers unless we agreed separately. If you need an enhanced design for an older browser, we can provide a separate estimate for that.
Testing using popular smaller screen devices is essential in ensuring that a person’s experience of a design is appropriate to the capabilities of the device they’re using. We test our designs in:
iOS 9: Safari, Google Chrome Android: Google Chrome on Android Emulator
We won’t test in Blackberry, Opera Mini/Mobile, specific Android devices, Windows or other mobile browsers unless we agreed separately. If you need us to test using these, we can provide a separate estimate for that.
We build all websites using what’s called a Responsive Design framework. This means that the elements of the design will rearrange themselves to best fit whatever size screen is being used to view the website. If you are interested in a totally different design for your website when being viewed on a mobile device, we are happy to create and build a mobile-specific design at an additional cost.
While we don’t guarantee improvements to your website’s search engine ranking, the web pages that we develop are accessible to search engines and are optimized as far as meta-data.
We can’t guarantee that our work will be error-free and so we can’t be liable to you or any third-party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages, even if you’ve advised us of them.
When your final payment has cleared, copyright will be automatically assigned as follows:
You’ll own the visual elements that we create for this project. We’ll give you source files and finished files and you should keep them somewhere safe as we’re not required to keep a copy. You own all elements of text, images and data you provided, unless someone else owns them.
We love to show off our work, so we reserve the right to display all aspects of our creative work, including sketches, work-in-progress designs and the completed project on our portfolio and in articles on websites, in magazine articles and in books.
We may also add our logo or a link back to our website unless you request otherwise.
